F1 24 Review: Almost Perfect, But Not Quite There

Introduction F1 24 is the latest instalment in the Formula 1 gaming franchise, and it comes incredibly close to being a perfect game. With stunning visuals, realistic gameplay, and fun career mode features, this is a game that both hardcore fans and newcomers can enjoy. However, a few frustrating design choices keep it from achieving perfection.  What I Loved 1. Stunning Graphics and Immersive Visuals On the PS5, F1 24 is a visual masterpiece. The track surfaces are beautifully detailed, the cars look as sleek as their real-life counterparts, and the driver models are incredibly lifelike. The weather effects—especially rain—are breathtaking. Whether it’s a sudden downpour or a fully wet race, the graphics set the stage for an immersive racing experience. 2. Undisputed PS5 Review: A Disappointing Swing and Miss

  Introduction Undisputed is the newest boxing game for the PS5, heavily hyped and backed by the WBC. Naturally, I expected it to be the worthy successor to Fight Night Champion. Unfortunately, it falls far short of the mark and left me thoroughly disappointed.   What I Liked There’s not much to celebrate here. The graphics are decent, and occasionally fighters mimic their real-life counterparts in the ring. The game offers a decent roster of fighters, but even that’s undermined by glaring omissions of key names.  What I Disliked This is where Undisputed completely unravels. The motion capture is abysmal—Roy Jones Jr. looks like his shoulder is dislocated at all times, and blocking makes fighters appear as though they’re being bent in half. It’s laughably bad for a modern game. The punch targeting system is equally terrible. Straight punches rarely land properly, and every fighter seems to have the exact same right-hand cross animation when holding the analog stick. It’s...
